The National Rifle Association (NRA) is the most powerful lobby in the United States, outside of the military-industrial complex (and it's even part of that, too). Its venomous hatred of anyone who stands up against the "gun rights" lobby is hurting the country. It's time for Americans to see through the smokescreen and join the rest of the world in passing logical, civic and rational gun-control laws. And then enforce them.
